Eric Berger
Senior Stylist / Color Specialist
Eric Berger, owner of GEM, has had a passion for designing hair for decades.
He finds that working with hair is an art form that has limitless possibilities.
His specialties as a stylist include cutting, shaping, straightening, stying for fashion shows and photo shoots, and creating special occasion and bridal hair.
He enjoys working on both men and women and all hair types as variety is appealing to him. Eric is committed to bringing out both the inner an outer beauty in his clients while helping them achieve the look they desire.
Eric attended cosmetology school at the Paul Mitchell Academy in Seattle. While there, he was part of the design team, a group of students who participated in advanced training during their education.
Following cosmetology school, Eric apprencticed with Paul Morey at Paul Morey Salon in downtown Seattle and continued training with Csaba Fulop in Kirkland.
Throughout his career, he has trained with, among others, Vidal Sassoon, Bumble and Bumble, Hans Wolf, Martin Parsons, Ruth Roche, and Oribe. He has owned GEM since 2006 and his work has been noted by 425 Magazine, Seattle Magazine, and Luxury Homes Magazine.

Paule Attar
Senior Stylist / Color Specialist
Paule Attar was the President, technical and creative director at the “Paule Attar Salon and Spa” since March 1988, in Bellevue, WA.
In February 2017, the building the salon was located in was sold. After 30 years, we decided to close the business since another suitable location was not available.
Paule now works as a sole proprietor at “Salon GEM” at the Carilion Point in Kirkland.
Prior to relocating to Washington State Paule was the owner of “Attar For Hair” and a partner in “Cut”, two Beverly Hills, CA salons.
Before moving to the U.S. Paule worked at “Alexandre”, a Paris, France high-end salon for 6 years.
